What is a Pre-Order?

A Pre-Order consists of placing an order with Saga Outerwear that includes products from our upcoming, unreleased line in order to reserve said merchandise before it sells out.

Saga has offered Pre-Orders on our products since our founding, and the process is very much intertwined with our history as a brand. Our first year of production was a very limited offering, with one style of jacket and pant. We had no capital, no investors, and no rich eccentric relatives to fund our dream of bringing technical, performance-based outerwear to reality. We knew we had a fit and style the no one else had, and we knew there was a demand for it. So we put our mouths where the money was, so to speak. We offered special deals for our customers who would Pre-Order, months in advance, our upcoming release. The response was overwhelming. We sold out of our entire production before we ever received a single product from our factories. We were a totally unknown brand with no prior product history, selling direct to consumers through the internet. That might not seem so groundbreaking today, but keep in mind this was the same year YouTube was founded. We like to think of ourselves as the world's first crowdfunded brand.

We still offer Pre-Orders today in order for our most loyal customers to get their favorite gear before it sells out.

Can I order in-stock and pre-order items on the same order?

Our Pre-Order store is a completely different site. There is now no way you can order in-stock and pre-order items on the same order.

This is the first year we have done it this way, but think it will make the process a whole lot smoother for everyone.

When Will I Receive My Pre-Order?

Winter Pre-Orders will begin shipping this fall, please follow our social platforms for updates. Orders will be shipped in the order they were received.

The Fine Print

All pre-orders are cash transactions from the customer to Saga Outerwear. These transactions are an advance payment to reserve the advertised merchandise available exclusively at the Saga Online Store.

All Pre-Order sales follow a 30 day Refund Policy. If for any reason you are not happy with your product simply return it in new, re-sellable condition. All Pre-Order sales follow the Saga Factory Warranty. Pre-Order transactions can be cancelled at any time before your order has shipped.

Saga is committed to offering the most up-to-date and relevant information regarding the release of the Winter 2016/2017 Collection. Although Saga plans to ship merchandise by an estimated shipping date of mid-Septemeber, Saga assumes no responsibility if any reason or outside cause interferes with Saga's production or shipping schedule.
