There is no question that this season has been more difficult than most. For the last several months Rosina has had to deal with opening and closing resorts. Now that spring is finally starting to rear it's head Rosina talks about how she makes the switch.
When do you know winter is coming to an end and it’s time to start getting ready for spring? Is it a smell in the air, daylight savings time, a certain feeling, etc.?
"If you see bikers, skiers and snowboarders sharing one bus for going up the home mountain then you know the spring arrived in town. Also, you get kind of a spring vibe feeling. Going up on the mountain late, good slush session & hanging around in the sun after a good day."
What is your first action to prepare for spring? Do you start new fitness routines, clean winter storage, tune spring gear, etc.?
"When I know the ski season is coming to an end, I'm starting to prepare my bike. It's my summer sport and it's so much fun. Also I love to do some gardening like planting flowers, vegetables..."
What is the last thing you do to officially close down winter and move into a new season?
"There is never a last day:)."
