It has been announced, Dan Carr and I have graced the cover of a Poor Boyz DVD. This cover is full of action, there are a bunch of photos, but that is me in the center doing a rodeo in the middle of an AK line.
A big thanks to Tyler Hamlet and Jonny Decesare at Poor Boyz for choosing my picture. Also Dan Carr did an amazing job with his telephoto lens, he had to be nearly half a mile away when he shot this, for more “technical Info” on this and other shots, check out his blog.
Revolver, the 2010 film from Poor Boyz Productions, presented by Salomon focuses on the progression and the factors that have coincided with many great advancements of the sport of skiing. (Over the last decade skiing has exploded into what we know it is today. But skiing has had many trying moments long before the end of the 20th century.) This season Poor Boyz Productions plans to showcase today’s raw talents of skiing in a high action, retrospective, yet progressive look at what things are pushing the sport today.

Photopgrapher Brent Benson came along with me up to Idaho for the Smith Optics Backcountry shoot. I did a blog on this a few days ago with no action shots, so I emailed up Brent and he was nice enough to send me this snowmobile jump shot, and the chainsaw pic.
I know I know, there is no ski shots but I consider me with a running chainsaw action, and myself going real small on this snowmobile jump can be considered action I guess. ( sorry, I think the chainsaw is off….) Chopping logs so you stay warm at night, roughing it
I went down to Bozeman for the Poor Boyz Triple Threat Tour this past tuesday. This was my first time seeing both Contrast and Every Day is A Saturday and I must say both movies are optically pleasing, from the street to the BC it was all fire. Saga athlete Tim Durtschi was in attendance signing Saga Fun Posters for all the stoked spectators, it always fun to see Tim. And with him was kendama wizard Turner Thorne who you have previously seen on the blog with his banger Kendama edits. The Saga Fun Poster was designed in one hour flat prior to the show and I know that everyone that left with one is now having a more fun in life just for owning one, very limited. The pictures from the night are posted in reverse order so scroll to the bottom to see the night and all the magic that was made.
We have a winner! Yea Dawg. The best part of the night was when Tim announced an impromptu Kendama contest for the free pair of skis. You had to get the ball back on the stick, easier said than done. Contrast. Tim and Turner Triple Threats own Cody Carter on stage. The product that was glowing up on stage, a lot of quality merchandise was given away. Patiently waiting for the movies to drop. Tim Signing, 110% effort into each one. I always take pictures of customers, they probably wonder why they are getting photographed. Tim with a stoked fan who is now having more fun with his new poster. A long line of people waiting to meet Tim, he signed through all the Saga posters!
There are the Saga Fun posters but where is Tim?
If you go back and look at all the Poor Boyz Posters, 90 percent of them feature salomon athletes. You have to go back to War to get the only other poster with out a salomon athlete on the cover ( and yeah dude had some other athletes on it Myself included). But here is the poster, If you go to a PBP Premiere you can get one.
