Boat Ride In Bellingham Bay

I have been hanging out in Bellingham with Luke Tanaka, trying to ski at Baker…. but the snow is not so good right now (I feel bad for Olympic Organizers right now). My friend John Love took us out for a booze cruise in Bellingham Bay, and it was just the event to take our minds off the lack of snow.

It was super warm on the water and the sun was out, I bundled up a bit because at our brisk pace of 8 knots we got a bit of wind on theeee decks.

To be honest I did not think a boat ride was going to be an activity I was going to be taking part in during my Winter. I am gonna go get on some powder real quick because I am getting stoked seeing Wiley out there destroying.

Last time I was here this thing was burning Diesel and keeping the parking lot clear, this time mother nature is taking care of that.

December Update

I just bought my plane ticket to France for the Linecatcher event, you can check it out on facebook. I am really excited to do this contest, I think it will be fun to compete on something other than park Features. I think some powder is coming our way so I am hoping to ski as much as I can before I transport to France.

Mt. Bachelor was fun today, I hung out with PBP filmer Jeff Thomas look for him skiing, yes, not filming but skiing in Durtschi Diaries! Yea filmers can throw down too, they don’t just sit behind the cameras 180 days a year.

Zack Giffin Ultimate Ski Bum Contest

I just met Zack Giffin up at Mt. Baker last week and he told me about this contest he entered where you win a bus for 3 months and free gas and other cool stuff. I like his video alot, its alot better than some of the entries on the site, most guys are trying to claim so hard and Zacks is alot different and it “touches the viewer’s heart’s” if you will.
