PBP Update: Upside down Butress Revealed

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Shooting continues at Mt. Bachelor through the Month of May. I want winter to last forever, and this winter it seems to be acting that way. LJ Strenio came back from Sweden to hit up the Bachelor Features which are plentiful, yes plentiful. The Wallride Feature went down, a mellow transistion into some bigger stuff to come throughout the month. I was messing around on this wind lip feature and did an outrageously stiff hand drag, I was excited with the photo. LJ and Sammy Carlson just destroyed the gap rail feature, I enjoyed watching them ____ over the gap. Here is some Jonathon Chandler Photography :)

The side of the Wallride had a nice flip jump

Flatspin Japan, name a pro that doesn’t do this trick

Turner Thorne Kendama USA Contest Edit!

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Turner Thorne put the finishing Touches on his 90 second Kendama Edit, just in time for the new Years Deadline.  He is gunning for the win in the Kendama USA contest, to be on the Kendama USA Pro Team.  Which means you get to be a kid for the rest of your life, travel to Japan, meet the best kendama players in the world, I hope he wins!

His edit is solid, and I am proud of his accomplishments with this wooden toy, he surpassed my skills on the second day he ever played with one so he no doubt has some gifted abilities with this thing… maybe he is part japanese?
