A day at the Beave and you won’t want to leave.

Friday, March 19th, 2010

My good friend and fellow Windells Coach, Cody Booth, and I were up at Beaver Creek yesterday and the past few others (because it’s the best spot to avoid the spring break crowds, [cough cough]) and it was insanely fun. Here are some pics. Oh, and I’m probably going to have diabetes from the amount of chocolate chip cookies I’ve ingested in the past 3 days.

Today was a sick pow day, but i forgot my camera.

Hoppin’ out that whip.

You gotta wait sometimes.

Noon Groom. I love it.

Yet Another View on Chads

Thursday, March 18th, 2010

MIKE WILSON was the one who decided to film Chad’s Gap for his TV Show.

HARRISON COLE is the main filmer who follows Mike around the World to film for his TV show.

Harrison took some of these Screen Shots from his RED CAMERA.

He took them to send to Jonny Decesare so he knew that CHADS GAP was going down.

A nice Lifestyle on the lip of Chads.

A Speed check, 50 to Zero in 30 feet.

Long Day of shoveling, I had to stay positive.

Alyeska Resort Video

Monday, March 15th, 2010

I did a short video for the Alyeska Resort Youtube Channel.

I filmed some of the rippers from the Alyeska Freeride team, and a nice short run of me down headwall, which for those of you who don’t know is the face above high traverse that is usually only open for one or 2 days a season.  I was stoked to see these kids throwing front flips all over the place, and I had a great time at Alyeska as usual.

Headwall is a funny name if you think about it for a minute… Head…wall.

Also thanks to the Saga guys for getting me a new camera (actually I am borrowing theirs, since i lost mine)

Day 3.

Alyeska Freeride Team

Saturday, March 13th, 2010

My brother coaches the freeride team at Alyeska and I got to take some runs with them today.  Also headwall opened up, which is a once a year deal usually.  It got tracked out fast, everyone wanted to get it in well it was good, because its going to be closed tommorow and no one knows if it will open again.

The kids were all rippers, throwing fronts off cliffs and straight-lining the chop all day.  It was good to see the local talent, and it proved the type of rider a mountain like Alyeska can mold you into.

Today was the perfect day to prepare for my Heli trip, I skied a long face and hit a few cliffs, I cannot wait to Link up with PBP and get it done.Lone Ice Berg on the drive to Alyeska

The trek up Headwall.  The most solid bootpack I had ever hiked, I was not complaining :)
