Windells’ = Growth

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Among the constant camp improvements such as new and better dining, cabin work, a second rope tow, massive amounts of skate concrete, dirt jumps, ladder trails, and a 22′ halfpipe, they are now making an on-campus dry snow bag jump ramp. WHAT?!?

Windells New Edits

Monday, April 26th, 2010

As the days leading up to another epic summer at Windells Camp are shortening, the media crew is working day in and day out to release some new Video Edits.  Check out a few of their most recent drops.  Take particular notice of the Welcome to the Jungle edit, at the end – their are a few sneak peaks of the new skatepark.

Building S#*T

Tuesday, April 20th, 2010

If you remember a few weeks back I posted that video on how to build a mini-ramp, well our time has finally come. With our new warehouse and plenty of extra floor space some transition only seemed right. Austin has been on the grind for the past day getting this ramp sliced and diced before transporting it over to the new spot. I will have more pics once constructed.

Lots of 2″x 4″s

The Man Expo Day 2

Sunday, April 11th, 2010

Today was the second day of the skate comp at the SLC Man Expo.  Today Austin and myself took part in some manly quests that the show had to offer. We started off with a Texas Hold-em freeroll that I got knocked out of early.  Austin pushed all-in with 6 2 in a last attempt to triple up (since the tournament was a 1 hour with top two chip leaders winning a 1500$ gift package).  I also bought a R/C helicopter which I have not been able to fly because there is a high wind warning for Utah right now.

My favorite part of the day was the testosterone destruction zone where I got to hit an old vehicle with an aluminum baseball bat. The windows were already broken but I went to town in the roof.

Once again thank you to Action Profiles for the Banner placements and the opportunity to be a part of the skate contest.

We met some fans who came to check out the show

Saga shirts were handed out on the fly

Austin and I doing an interview for Actionprofiles.com thank you Shawn!

Over in the corner, tons of skate action all day

SLC PRO-AM.

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Just got back from Day one of the SLC PRO-AM hosted inside the Man Show at the south town expo center here in Utah. It was the Am skate today but it was nothing short of impressive with local talent like Nate Holland and Saga Team member Austin Wyberg contributing to the jam session. Below are a handful of pics from around the event.

This is the first event we have ever officially sponsored. Look at that home made banner, black and gold.

Austin Wyberg had all sorts of consistent skateboarding to use during the jam session. Today was the first day we met Austin and he killed it so hard all day, welcome to the team!

The indoor wake ramp looked sketchy, urban style setup.

Action Profiles booth, really rad group of people.

Tim battled the crowds for his share of schwag.

After the event we went to Fairmont park in Sugar House to skate for a few. Austin and crew posted for a family style pic.
