NetWork in progress

Tuesday, April 6th, 2010

Stept has their new movie titled “NetWork” –  the sum of the time spent dropping hammers and the time and effort shared with friends and friends of friends.  This is sure to be a large sum of excellence.  Here are some recent stills, courtesy of Ian Boll.

Go night riding!

Sunday, February 14th, 2010

Recently, I have been going night riding at Keystone. I really love to ride with my buddy Jon, but he can only really ride in the evenings due to classes. So he and I will go up late in the afternoon. However, I cannot complain. Sure it’s a little colder, but everything else makes up for it. The vibe totally changes between 3 o’clock to 4 o’clock. We will often roll in when everyone else is leaving. We will often have the entire mountain to ourselves. We will often have empty lifts. But we always have a blast! It is so fun. If you have the abiltiy to, GO NIGHT RIDING!

Sunset. First run.

Empty park and park chair.

Darkness = no light for any non blurry shots  + fun

Keystone has some odd features.

Better bundle up.

Where is everybody?

A Day At Breck

Monday, January 25th, 2010

Here in the central Colorado Rockies we’ve been waiting for snow for a while.  On this day, to be sure, it did not come. We had a great day cruising around and i’m pretty sure we hit the entire mountain.  For those of you privileged enough to have big mountains like me, don’t forget to explore them and maybe avoid the park.  You all should try it some day.   Don’t ride the same lift twice. You’ll be amazed at what you might find.

We hiked up to the Peak 8 Summit expecting nothing but a great view and some wind blown ice.  It ended up being the best run of the day. We were also the last ones down the mountain.

Montana Museum With Saga

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Museums are fun.  Turner and I went to the the Museum of the Rockies.  This museum is full of real Dinosaur bones and the largest intact T-Rex Skull. The Museum is really entertaining, if you are ever in Bozeman it is a Must see attraction.  I thought I might have nightmares from seeing all the dino skulls but I think my dreams got better after seeing all this history.
