It has been announced, Dan Carr and I have graced the cover of a Poor Boyz DVD.  This cover is full of action, there are a bunch of photos, but that is me in the center doing a rodeo in the middle of an AK line.
A big thanks to Tyler Hamlet and Jonny Decesare at Poor Boyz for choosing my picture.  Also Dan Carr did an amazing job with his telephoto lens, he had to be nearly half a mile away when he shot this, for more “technical Info” on this and other shots, check out his blog.

After my injury at Mt. Hood put me out of commish, I got some down time to relax, and think about things other than skiing.  I went to my families lake house and messed around on a wake surfer.  It is amazing how a sport without bindings is so much nicer to your body, no wonder Wolle Nyvelt is so into that noboarding scene.

Wake surfing is as close as you can get to wave surfing, it actually feels the same and you get 10 times the length of the ride, you can ride forever essentially. The wave never ends, its really fun and a good way to get practice for wave surfing in the ocean, so your not just a dead paddler out there, like I usually am.

Water makes up 60% of our bodies, and it seems like I spend at least 60% of my time on snow, or in water.  Summer is not so bad after all.

Glassy cool refreshing water

All the gear is here, shorts and a board, so simple right?

Julies braclets

a different kind of water, muddy yes, fun still? yes

Balance, at least its water.

Since facebook is pretty much the coolest thing out and the summer haze has set in it’s time to give away a full kit on our fan page, like omg. The “Partied Out” give away with Wiley Miller is the chance to win 4 pairs of Boardshorts and every t-shirt from the summer collection, which last time I checked was 11 t-shirts. Now your probably thinking “holy sh*t how do I win?” Follow the simple directions below and try for your chance to get laced up with all of this summer’s styles. There will be one winner from the states and one international winner will also be awarded. To win all you have to do is make sure your name pops up in the facebook comments the most with country abbreviation beside it. Read the Rules below and start hustling people to get your name posted. Party on Wayne!

The rules are:

- The key to winning is getting as many people as you can to put your full name in the comments below the facebook post.
- You can only post your name in the facebok comments one time.
- Anybody else that posts or refers your name in the comments can only do so one time.
(Moms, dads, grandparents, ex-girlfriends, it all works)
– Don’t bend or break the rules or you are eliminated. Let’s be fair.

Maybe, bribe your friends with some of your winnings to get them to post, or just go door to door and manually sign people up via their facebook accounts.

We hit up the Powder Magazine boys in San Clemente, CA for a tour a round the office followed by a trip out to the famous Trestles break for some surf. It was pumping out there and with over head conditions everyone was stoked to see what they could make happen. Thanks for the trip dudes!

Everyone looking out at the break.

Over at lower trestles people were making it happen too.

It was our first time meeting Mike Rogge, the infamous Ski Show host and now the associate editor of Powder Magazine. He snapped this shot of the Jaded Local relaxing. On a side note, the wave sets never stopped coming and I got battered with this being the biggest surf I had ever paddled out to.

The Jaded in the jungle.

Long Boarder about to make his plunge into the water.

The full Trestles break from above, can you believe there was almost a major interstate built right through this picture, it would have been another epic fail for the state of California.
